John Wicker joined the firm in 2007 as a partner focusing on providing legal services to closely held businesses. Prior to attending law school, John was a Certified Public Accountant and served as Chief Financial Officer to Center of Excellence, LLC, a high-tech company developing and supporting software solutions for distributors of McDonalds’ Restaurants. John has previously worked as a Director of Strategic Planning for Roundy’s, Inc., a $3 billion food distributor and as a Senior Tax Consultant for an international consulting firm.

John is the registered agent for approximately 300 Florida corporations and LLC’s and provides escrow and title services for a high percentage of the brokered business transactions in Lee County, Florida. John provides general counsel services to numerous local businesses and franchises. John’s corporate services include corporate formation, compliance with corporate formalities, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate dissolution. In addition to drafting and negotiating contracts on behalf of business clients, John provides legal representation in court. John’s litigation practice includes breach of contract, foreclosure, landlord/tenant, general real estate, employment law, and intellectual property.
